6 years in development, countless prototypes and with the help of Lukas, a Swiss geologist, it’s finally here: the birth of a hammock that allows comfortable horizontal sleep. The diagonal suspension system made it possible. Its key features are an integrated mat sleeve, removable bug net and a generous rain and sun tarp. Setup is swift with carabiners that hook into the buttonhole suspension ropes (included).
> Mat sleeve: fits all Exped mats except the MegaMat. This allows comfortable slumber even in winter.
> Adjustable suspension: a distance of only 1.8 m between anchor points is necessary for setup, if the distance is larger it is only limited by the length of the ropes.
> Simple setup: All parts are factory pre-mounted so that only the carabiners need to be hooked into the buttonhole ropes for use. The ropes can be attached to trees or other anchor points without the need for knots. Drop shields prevent rain from soaking its way down the ropes.

| | > The hammock features a special mat sleeve that can be accessed from two sides. It holds a sleeping mat firmly in place and fits Exped LW mat size (recommended for greatest sleeping comfort. Anyone who has spent a cool night in a hammock has experienced the uncomfortable feeling when your back is pressed against the hammock fabric and you feel the cold breeze. Another advantage of the mat sleeve is that it prevents mosquitoes from biting through the hammock.
> Large multi functional tarp: A specially designed tarp protects against rain, sun and a neighbor's line of sight. With its generous dimensions it offers enough space to store your gear and allows sheltered cooking. Set it up in an open configuration in good weather or shut it down in rough weather. The tarp can be adjusted to fit even in tight spots. The tarp's ridge line clips straight into the suspension ropes and guylines pack into integrated pockets when not in use.
> Removable mosquito net: the fine mesh net is generously dimensioned can be zipped open and stowed in a pocket. The dark color of the mesh is see-through from the inside but less so from the outside.
> Suspension cord sheath: the sheath over the cords prevents them getting tangled when packed away for storage.
