With support from the National Geographic Global Exploration Fund and numerous sponsors, Martin Edström and his team mounted a successful expedition to Hang Son Doong in Vietnam in early 2015. The result was a next-generation digital reportage, covering large parts of the cave in 360° images and audio. This interactive and immersive experience lets you explore the cave for yourself.

We have expanded our backpack range with these lightweight but durable and versatile mountaineering packs..

In view of their volume and feature set the new Thunder trekking packs are super lightweight and excel with superb comfort and load transfer.

Can't beat this for comfort out in the wild or as a guest bed at home: The complete sleep-system includes a thick mat, a cuddly quilt, a smooth fitted sheet and packs down nice and small in the mat inflation pumpbag.

Here's an excellent review of the Lightning 60 from SectionHiker.com. Looks like it's still a bit cold where he's hiking...

Quite a feat, setting up a tent in strong winds and on solid ground. Christian Pries and partner master the challenge with the Venus II.

SynMat WinterLite

Trailspace.com recently reviewed the new SynMat WinterLite, coming in March to specialty retailers.

Curious about the new additions to our mat range? There's a full set of tapered mats. These are the worlds lightest mats when compared to their warmth and comfort! And they pack extremely small.

The Cloudburst 15 and 25 packs are light enough to take anywhere. And they are waterproof!

Ivo Moosberger criss-crosses through the landscape while creating fascinating fugacious art out of natural materials. Obviously living in igloos during the winter comes naturally. With the help of his Exped Snowsaws he has crafted countless snow sculptures and worked on his 130th igloo which he documented it in the following time-lapse video.
