SectionHiker.com reviews Schnozzel Pumpbag UL

Scnozzel Pumpbag UL is the quickest way to inflate a sleeping mat! Here's a review by Philip Werner of SectionHiker.com.

And here's a link to the full review at SectionHiker.com with accompanying photos.

At EXPED, we like to think of the Schnozzel Pumpbag as having a net zero weight. This is because it can double as a stuff sack, as stated in Philip's review. Few items of gear can claim net zero. Another example might be trekking poles when they are used to set up a tarp (in place of tarp poles) or one of our ponchos that can be used as a tarp. Another example is the EXPED Splash 15 backpack, which is essentially a waterproof stuff sack with ultralight shoulder straps. It's a cool way to think about multi-use items of gear and the Schnozzel Pumpbag is a great example. It's available in 3 sizes and two fabrics: the UL is very, very light and made with 20 denier ripstop nylon while the standard version is built with 70 denier ripstop nylon for additional durability.
