Seattle based Exped LLC, a subsidiary of Exped AG in Switzerland, is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, service oriented person to join their team as a full-time Warranty  Service Specialist.  We are a small, tightly-knit group and the person we hire will have an immediate impact on the success of the Exped brand across the USA.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two years or more experience in outdoor industry customer service or specialty outdoor retail sales.  
  • Two years or more experience in warranty and repairs services
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluating, testing and repairing  Exped products
  • Processing warranty replacements and credits
  • Facilitate the shipping of returns and parts
  • Resolve customer warranty claims
  • Maintain an organized parts and supply inventory
  • Maintain returns reporting
  • Become knowledgeable about all aspects of Exped’s product line
  • Assist in maintaining company databases
  • Assist in developing and improving processes/procedures
  • Responsible for opening and closing office. 
  • Assist with Customer Service duties as required
  • Support  Sales and Marketing as required

All duties and tasks will be performed in a positive and professional manner, according to Exped LLC policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus and order management systems)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Teamwork and flexibility are crucial to this position
  • College degree preferred
