The small mesh inner pocket (with key clip) holds a 20mm webbing strap with aluminium hook that can be used for the diagonal ski attachment option. For perfect hold, slip the strap through both loops above the left shoulder strap.
If you thread the strap through its extra loop, the webbing strap will not get lost during skiing.
Webbing loop (stowable in front compartment) for lower fixation of diagonal ski attachment.
Easy attachment of snowboard or snowshoes:
For snowboard, use the web loops above the shoulder straps for a firm fixation.
Elastic loops in the sleeve of the pack’s back hold shovel shaft and avalanche probe in place (a nice side effect in the Glissade 25 as it stiffens the back and improves load control). Separating the shaft from the blade of the shovel also has the positive advantage of preventing noise when the parts bang against each other.
Loops are also found in the front pocket for those who prefer to stow shovel and probe together.
The front pocket also comes with a zippered map pocket and two elast loops for pens and pencils.
Generous lateral ski anchor loops - fit skis up to 140mm wide. The side compression straps with aluminium hook hold the skis securely in place. The horizontal daisy chain offers multiple fixation points.
Pack with optimised shape: slim pack body for snug-to-back fit and superb load control and load bearing properties.
Shoulder strap webbing is secured to the base for superior control of the pack in all situations (even without hipbelt).
Use the side compression straps or the separate Accessory Strap to secure the top of the snowboard or snowshoes.
Slide the included webbing strap with aluminium hook through the lower loops of the daisy chain to attach the bottom of the snowboard or snowshoes.
Thermo formed back panel of snow shedding fabric.
Removable hipbelt with zippered pockets.
Hydration system compatible - central hydration port and both shoulder straps feature tube holders.
The Glissade 35 is a compact and plain backpack designed specifically for winter adventures. Thanks to 2 integrated lightweight aluminum stays for improved load transfer, it is also very suitable for multi-day trips.
The clean look and the clear compartment layout provide good organization and enough space for all essentials. Elastic loops inside provide hold for a shovel shaft or avalanche probe.
The Glissade also offers versatile attachment options for snow kit. Skis can be attached laterally either by means of the generous loop on the sides or diagonally by means of included webbing straps that can be stowed in the front compartment when not in use. Snowshoes or a snowboard can also be fastened to the front of the backpack using these neat webbing straps.
Thanks to the optimized shape of the pack and the shallow depth, the Glissade has a close to body fit, resulting in excellent load control. The special configuration of the shoulder strap webbing to the base of the pack ensures top load control at all times. The snow-repellent, thermo molded back ensures high carrying comfort. A 4-way compression system allows the Glissade to be compactly if necessary.
