Serac - the versatile alpine backpack with a new look
Launched back in 2016, the Serac is one of the EXPED classics. The versatile alpine backpack has now been given an update and is available in new colors and improved features. The Serac is our lightweight, minimalist, weatherproof alpine backpack, ideal for mountain tours.
The newly shaped large front pocket offers more volume for touring equipment. Small items can be easily stowed in an additional zippered pocket accessible from the outside.
The long, weatherproof zipper is located on the side of the backpack and allows quick access to clothing, gloves, a bottle, etc., and items in the bottom area. The practical roll-top allows optimum compression. A new tube outlet for the hydration system rounds off this versatile 4-season alpine backpack.
Removable side compression straps a new arrangement of ice axe loops and the ski attachment make it easier to attach skis or ice tools and offer a high degree of customization of the backpack. On the one hand in terms of the mountain season (summer/winter use), but also for individual use, which many mountain professionals appreciate.
The Serac is available in three practical sizes and three fresh new colors.
