Climate protection with myclimate
Since 2021, EXPED has been supporting certified myclimate climate protection projects through a financial contribution. Together with the nonprofit organization, we have calculated the carbon footprint of all our products and our operations at our Zurich location. Our annual contribution is based on this calculation - but it does not change the carbon footprint itself.

YOURZ is one of the leading manufacturers of tents and other outdoor products. Since 2012, the Korean-run company has been supplying tents and tarps from Vietnam worldwide - including to EXPED in Zurich.
Water column or hydrostatic pressure is a unit of measure used to describe the waterpoofness of fabrics. A 10 cm² fabric sample is tensioned under a water cylinder. The point under which droplets are pressed through the fabric indicates the water column.
