All EXPED wool is certified to the highest animal welfare standard.

Since 2021, EXPED has been supporting certified myclimate climate protection projects through a financial contribution. Together with the nonprofit organization, we have calculated the carbon footprint of all our products and our operations at our Zurich location. Our annual contribution is based on this calculation - but it does not change the carbon footprint itself.

Bluesign® is an independent system that has worked with the textile industry for over 25 years to help make production safer for people and the planet. Bluepass is its certification mark. 

All EXPED textile products are made without intentionally added PFAS since 2025. We work closely with suppliers and perform independent tests to ensure our products contain zero PFAS.

Feng Yi is an established mat manufacturer based in Taichung City in Taiwan and has been producing the well-known mats for EXPED for over 20 years.

Not suitable for children under the age of three. Choking hazard as the product is impermeable to air and contains small parts that can be swallowed.

The glue in the repair kit contains solvents and is flammable! Keep it away from open flames and heat sources! Use the adhesive only in well-ventilated areas and avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes! In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Store the adhesive out of reach of children in a cool, dry place!
